Nancy started at Puddle

Duck in 2016. Nancy has two grown children and also a grandson. She comes to Puddle Duck with over

18 years of experience working with children from ages 2.9 to 6. Nancy previously worked at a local Montessori school as a teacher's assistant and is EEC certified.

Mackenzie Scanlon

Teachers Assistant

Mackenzie joined Puddle Duck in January of 2025. Mackenzie is currently a junior in high school. You will see Mackenzie float around our infant, toddler and preschool classrooms in the late afternoons throughout the week.

Donna Doherty

Donna was retired and now a re-hired employee. She originally started working at Puddle Duck in 2006 and was the infant teachers assistant. Donna is the mother of the current owner Brittany Lupo and came back to Puddle Duck to work along side her. Donna has had many years in the field. She did a small in home daycare for approximately 20 years. Donna can be seen floating in all the classroom here at Puddle Duck!

Alexa Giacchetti

Floating/Closing Teacher

Alexa worked at Puddle Duck from 2011 till 2020 and started off as an assistant who then got EEC certified. Alexa came back to Puddle Duck in June of 2025 as a part-time afternoon teacher. Alexa has experience working with infants through Kindergarten. We are happy to have her back as she is a great addition to our team!
